Gujarati comedy play- BACHU NE BAATLIMA UTAARO
Saturday 14th June from 8 p.m. to 11pm: Hove Town Hall, Norton Road, Hove BN3 4AH. Gujarati comedy play- BACHU NE BAATLIMA UTAARO written and directed by Kiran Purohit organised by same artist of ‘Lottery Lottery’. Refreshments will be provided before the play starts, from 8p.m. to 8.30pm. Ticket prices £12.50 Adults, £7.00 Child 5-12, under 5’s free. Tickets are available from any committee member.
Sunday 8 th June 14 from 2.00pm for 2.30pm Start–The Chattri Memorial Service
On the Downs near Patcham, Brighton (Standen Lane, Patcham, Brighton, BN1 8ZB). 2014 is the 100 year anniversary of the First World War. This service is dedicated to the Indian soldiers who fought on the Western Front during the First World War. All are welcome to attend this half hour service, believed to be the only one of its kind in Britain. There will be refreshments and an exhibition at a nearby venue after the ceremony. March 2014 GCS Brighton AGM Meeting
The AGM was held on 23rd March 2014 at the Swaminarayan Temple, we are pleased to inform you that it went very successfully, with a good turnout of members. We had compliments from the members on the hard work done by the committee members. We had a few new members on board, and had resignations from Mrs Meera Bharadava and Miss Hemali Patel. The following members were elected as office bearers. Election of officials: Mr Dhirajal Lamba, 119 Portland Road, Hove BN5 5DP (01273 735515) re-elected as President. Mr Jignesh Agnihotri, 1 Mill Rise, Brighton BN1 5GD (01273 275710) elected as Vice President. Mr Mahindra Chauhan, 4 Lodge Court,Shoreham-by-Sea BN43 5NU (01273 464139) elected as Secretary with Devesh Patel as Joint Secretary. Mr Pravinchandra Limbachia, 12 Western Road, Hove, BN3 1AH (01273 772955) remain as Treasurer with Joint Treasurer Ramanbhai Shah. Mr Chandrakat Metha as Public Relations,BMECP. Dr Amrut C Shah and Mr Ramanbhai Shah remain as Trustee. Enterainment :Hamirbhai Thakariya. Catering Committee: Manjulaben Shah, Dansukbhai Patel and Hamirbhai Thakariya. Cancer talk – focusing on cervical, breast and bowel (so also partly relevant for men if you want to bring any along). Venue – South Portslade Community Centre, Church Rd. Holi Celebrations – Sunday 16th March 2014
This years Holi celebrations will be held jointly with Crawley Mandir on the Sunday the 16th March. The event starts at 7.30pm.
