Reminder: Navratri this Thursday 28th September 2017 is at a different venue!

We wish to remind everyone that this Thursday (28th September) our Navratri celebration is to be held at a different venue – Hove Park Lower School, Hangleton Way, Hove BN3 8AA – not to be confused with the upper school venue at Neville Road. Entrance is free on this day, for members & non-members alike & refreshments are available for free. We wish to remind everybody that tickets for our Diwali Dinner & Dance which will be taking place at the Hilton Metropole Hotel on Saturday 11th Novermber are on sale at our Navratri celebrations & are selling our fast. Family membership – £65 (a couple and any unmarried children) Couples membership – £65 Single membership – £30 Membership renewal forms / invoices will be issued & sent automatically to people who were members last year. Members also get half-price tickets for our Diwali Dinner & Dance, and several other benefits throughout year. GCS Brighton are pleased to announce details of our annual Diwali Dinner & Dance, which is one of the highlights of our calendar. This year we have our best venue yet – the Hilton Metropole, & the event is set to be bigger & better in every way. Details of the event are as follows: Date: Saturday 11th November 2017 Time: 7pm Till 1am Venue: Hilton Metropole Hotel, King’s Road, Brighton BN1 2FU Prices: Members – £20 adults, £10 children aged under 12, Non-members – £40 adults, £20 children aged under 12 Important note: Due to Hilton Metropole Policy, all drinks must be brought on the premises. Organised by Gujarati Cultural Society of Brighton Trustee Anant Suchak with Barclays Bank for the benefit of Indian / Gujarati Businesses – Start time for the event is 15th September 2017 – 7 pm for 7.30pm start – John the technician will give us a demo of things that they do – its for our business people to see how what modern digital economy is driven forward.
