This year GCS goes CARNIVAL WAY……… GCS Brighton annual Diwali Dinner & Dance will at the Hilton Metropole – Live music by the popular MK Roadshow DJ Kunal!! The Diwali Dinner & Dance event will at the Viscount Hall, Hilton, unfortunately we have to accept some restricted view from some tables due to the pillars, GCS Committee members have Kindly offered to take those tables. The booking of tables will be only be through GCS website, where you are able to view the table plan showing the pillars on the diagram and able to choose a table and chairs. Seating will be on first come first serve basis and GCS members will be given priority and those booking full table of 12 guest. Important Note: Due to Hilton Policy, all drinks must be bought on the premises. Private drinks cannot be brought to the event – they will be confiscated by hotel security . GCS Event: Holi Celebrations 2018 [Cancelled]

Dear Gujarati Cultural Society Members, Due to adverse weather conditions and forecast GCS have decided to cancel the Holi event due to take place at Waterhall on Thursday 1 March this is in the interest of public health and safety which is our primary concern . We are delighted to announce that GCS Brighton’s Annual Cricket, Picnic & Family Summer Fun Day has been confirmed For Sunday 13th August 2017. Location: Braypool Recreation Ground, Braypool Lane, Patcham BN1 8HZ Commencing: 2.30pm Cost: £5 for cricket players, free for others. We had an excellent turnout last year, and encourage you to come along with friends and family for an enjoyable afternoon in a relaxed atmosphere, giving a chance to hang out with old friends and meet new friends.  As well as cricket and refreshments, there will be a range of other sports and games, making the event suited for the entire family, young and old, ladies and gents. Diwali Dinner & Dance 2015 : Gujarati Cultural Society Brighton and Hove Dear friends we are all getting excited about our Diwali Dinner and Dance now.. Your committee is working very hard to bring you the best experience so far of our Annual Diwali Dinner and Dance. A few important announcements for your co-operation: 1. Please bring your tickets and membership cards with you. Management reserves the right to refuse entry. There will be NO MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION OR TICKET SALE AT THE DIWALI EVENT ON THE DAY. 2. NO ALCOHOLIC DRINKS FROM OUTSIDE ALLOWED – the Hotel staff will confiscate your drink if you do. Please purchase your alcohol or soft drinks from the Cash Bar provided which will be in the Hall. 3. Entrance through main doors Kings Road – wheelchairs/disabled access guests please tell reception and they will open the side entrance for you. 4. Car parking: we have negotiated a special price £5 per car for the night- 150 spaces available – first come first serve. There are other local carparks and free road parking after 8.00pm along the area. 5. Seating arrangement: Tables with 12 chairs – you may reserve a table if you have a group of 10-12 people. Otherwise you may have to adjust our seating arrangements please.
